- Please be advised that Fairmont Orchid in Kona, Hawaii, has announced a scheduled renovation of Hale Kai, the resort’s poolside lunch restaurant, from August 17, 2026, through December 20, 2026. During the renovation period, guests may continue to enjoy the Hale Kai lunch menu daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Orchid Court and through In-Room Dining. A pop-up pool bar will also be available throughout the renovation, offering a convenient option for guests to enjoy refreshing cocktails and beverages poolside. The resort will remain fully open and operational throughout the renovation. For guest safety, the work area will be clearly marked and inaccessible to guests for the duration of the project. Fairmont Orchid is making every effort to minimize any disruption and maintain a comfortable and enjoyable guest experience throughout the renovation period.
