CocoLaPalm is set on fine sugar white sand next to the tantalizing turquoise waters of the Caribbean. This hotel in beautiful Negril, Jamaica has a distinctive architecture with open courtyards, and has two swimming pools (one courtyard and the other beachfront), and a large whirlpool surrounded by tropical gardens. The resort is not all-inclusive, however there are many different and tasty restaurants in the area. This hotel is perfect for couples and small families. Be sure not to miss the complimentary cocktail parties that happen every Monday night. Fridays are for beach parties with a bonfire and live band.

Event Policy:
• All events must be booked in advance to guarantee the availability of venues and services.
• All venues will attract a venue fee to facilitate the setup and breakdown of each space.
• The setup will be dependent on your venue, guest count, and the type of event.
• All events with 20 or more guests on the beach will require the rental of a tent.
• The cost will be determined by the size of the group.
• A signed contract and deposit are required to confirm an event.
• Final guest counts must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event.
• A list of approved vendors will be provided. We welcome vendors not on this list, but they are subject to prior approval.
• Music and amplified sound must comply with hotel noise regulations.
• All events should end by 10 pm to respect the hotel and non-wedding guests' satisfaction.
• Only food and beverage provided by the hotel will be allowed at private events.
• All catering requirements should be finalized 30 days before the event.
• Full payment for all invoiced services should be paid 30 days before the event.
• Events cancelled 31 to 60 days before the event date, will attract a penalty of 50% of the payments made.
• Events cancelled less than 30 days before will attract a penalty of 100% of the payments made.
• Couples also have the option to postpone their event and use their deposit within a year from the initial event date.

To ensure your marriage is legally recognized, the Jamaican government requires couples to provide specific documents before the ceremony. Our wedding team will guide you through the process and assist you with all submissions.
Required Documents:
• Certified copies of birth certificates
• Copies of a valid ID (passport or driver’s license)
• Proof of Marital Status (only applicable if divorced or widowed). If divorced, the original or a certified copy of the divorce decree will be required. If you are widowed, the original death certificate or a certified copy of the deceased spouse will be required.

All the above documents should be submitted to your wedding planner before or by the latest 6-8 weeks before your scheduled wedding date.
