Guests who purchased insurance and booked a trip before this date may have coverage under Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption or Travel Delay, as a result of the labour disruption per the terms and conditions of their policy.
In the event WestJet flight attendants have a labour disruption, guests who have made alternate arrangements to reach their destination, may have coverage under Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption or Travel Delay for the additional transportation costs incurred and lost prepaid accommodation expenses due to their delayed arrival.
On or after July 15, 2026
For guests who purchased insurance or booked a trip after this date, there may be no Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption coverage as a result of a labour disruption.
