For adults travelling with children under the age of 14, the airline will assign seating according to Canada’s Air Passenger Protection Regulations at the airport check-in, free of charge. For any passenger wishing to select their seats in advance of travel, there is a fee.

For families travelling with children under the age of 14, you can select Standard Seats at no extra charge when you book. If no free Standard Seats are available together, complete your booking and WestJet will assign you seats. If your seats are not assigned when you arrive at the airport, please see an agent. Your electronic documents/tickets will be available on our website within 28 days of departure and can be accessed via the My Booking Portal.

When you receive your electronic travel documents, they will include your WestJet flight itinerary and reservation code for web or kiosk check-in. You can use that reservation code to log in to “Manage Trips” on the WestJet App or on the website .
